Serving Litchfield & Willmar MN

About Us

Our goal is to provide you with a supportive environment for you and your child in which your child develops to their fullest potential.

Stay ‘N Play Child Care Inc. opened in June of 1998 with approx 15 children.   We have grown the enrollment to 120+ children.  Recently we expanded our Litchfield center and moved into a larger building.  In 2000 we began offering Preschool classes to the public as well as the children in care.  In 2002 we purchased the assets to our Dassel center.  We opened a new center during the summer of 2009 in Willmar on the MinnWest Technology Campus.

There is a constant growing demand for quality child care and preschool.  Our centers are making school readiness a priority that sets us apart from others.  We offer child care with an emphasis on providing an environment where children can learn and play.

Our Centers are Parent Aware Rated.  We follow Kindergarten Readiness best Practices.

Our Infant Program uses age appropriate activities that promote cognitive and social development in a warm, nurturing environment. We work with the children to reach developmental milestones such as rolling over, sitting up, standing/walking, self help skills, and speech development.

Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment that offers support to parents while helping your infants develop to their fullest potential physically and mentally.

The Toddler Program includes age appropriate activities that promote cognitive and social development in a warm, nurturing environment. Some age appropriate activities for this group includes teaching toddlers to feed themselves, manners, sharing, toilet training, and lots of time to explore.

Our goals in this age group include learning how to take turns and becoming more independent in daily activities.

We have two preschool classes:

*Preschool: 3 and 4 year olds

*The Kindergarten Prep:  for children who will be attending Kindergarten in the fall.

Our curriculum includes cognitive, sensory, physical, social and emotional development.  School readiness skills will be introduced and practiced using age appropriate thematic units.

Our goal in our preschool programs is to create a   learning experience that helps prepare each child for Kindergarten.

School Age
The Imagination Station, Where Kids Rock, caters to school-agers from Kindergarten through age 12. As a whole, our focus is on developing social skills, reading, making good choices, instilling respect, honesty, integrity, solving individual and group problems and expanding creativity.

The Kindergarten class during the daytime hours focus on following directions, reading, writing, math, science, social and cognitive development through creative projects.

Our goal for your child is for them to eventually be independent, and trusted to come home, fix a snack, complete their homework, and do their chores; all while waiting for you to come home from a long, hard day at work!
